CCB Head of Real Estate Planning and Location Strategy - Managing Director

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 30-40 people that support CCB’s location strategy, real estate planning and execution efforts
- Develop a location strategy to support the long term vision for CCB; taking into consideration the skills and talent in the labor force, the health of the market, new ways of working and desired strategic co-location efforts with customers and /or business partners
- Develop robust analytics to support site and seating strategies as well as in-person attendance patterns to enable more informed real estate decisions
- Lead a team of project managers responsible for supporting both large market-level programs as well as smaller scale initiatives related to real estate and/or workplace technology
- Lead team responsible for ensuring efficient process of CCB headcount projections that are accurately aligned to financial budget and location strategy
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm on site strategies and seating solutions; including, Global Real Estate (GRE), Corporate & Site Services, GTI
- Collaborate with Human Resources on labor force and market analytics
- Partner with Workplace Experience team on RTTO/Hybrid work initiatives as appropriate
- Partner with line of business location planners, CAOs and CFOs on real estate strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a large diverse organization in finance, strategy or management consulting. Experience in real estate planning or logistics or program management desired
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills. Passionate about leveraging data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau)
- Strong team leader and change agent; passion for coaching and development of people
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - ability to synthesize information into concise, insightful and actionable recommendations
- Ability to collaborate, influence, motivate and advice multiple stakeholders including senior management. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
- Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results oriented, fact based. Has the courage to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to employ balance approach to recommendations between financial analytics and employee experience

Real Estate Planning and Location Strategy is a strategic advisory and program management function within CCB Finance providing leadership, business and constituents with principled and forward-thinking perspectives and execution of location strategies to address CCB’s complex real estate decisions. CCB invests roughly $500mm in its Corporate Offices, accounting for ~11mm rentable square feet supporting ~80K employees.
