Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate capture of trading transactions within Risk Management and Trading Support systems.
- Perform intraday and end-of-day controls, including trade completeness reviews, reconciliations, and exception management.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues in collaboration with business partners.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, and other infrastructure teams to support a "One Team" approach and ensure seamless trade processing.
- Execute and document required controls, ensuring all sign-offs are completed within established service level agreements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution of inquiries and operational issues.
- Participate in strategic initiatives, process enhancements, automation efforts, and operational improvement projects.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of trading structures, financial products, and operational workflows.
- Support regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements through adherence to established controls and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications , Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of financial markets, trading products, and trade lifecycle management.
- Understanding of derivatives and hedging products, including: Loans, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS),Basis Swaps,Cross Currency Swaps, Forward Rate Agreements (FRAs), Foreign Exchange (FX) , Zero Coupon Swaps , Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bonds, Futures
- Understanding of front-to-back trade processing, including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and resolve operational risk and control issues.
Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities and Skills:
- Prior experience supporting Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, or Credit trading businesses.
- Knowledge of Trade Support, Middle Office, Risk Management, or Operations functions within an investment banking environment.
- Experience with process improvement, automation, or strategic change initiatives.
- Familiarity with VBA, Python, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data analytics and automation tools.
- Understanding of Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Finance, Legal, and Collateral Management functions.
