Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate and ensure effective and timely delivery of features and capabilities for our Digital Connected Services portfolio. The ideal candidate has prior experience as Scrum Master in fast-paced, complex technology and software teams. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in leading the Software projects, collaborating with cross functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes. Projects will be focused on supporting applications in the banking industry and monitoring ATMs and self-service banking devices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily scrum and sprint cadences.

  • Managed risks and dependencies

  • Escalate and track impediments via JIRA and coordinate with the Engineering managers and Governance teams.

  • Responsible for weekly reporting, deliverable, and ad-hoc reporting.

  • Encourage collaboration between System, Solution and Product teams.

  • Establish and communicate timelines for Product Line (PL) iterations and Program Increments (PIs).

  • Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics; where necessary Coach leaders and teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets

  • Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience (5+ years experience in related technology roles)

  • Must possess a Scrum Certification and have mastery in the following key areas:

    • Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and/or SAFe

  • Advanced experience using JIRA; including Jira project setup and configuration.

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC

  • Ability to build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven experience leading and coordinating multiple teams in a fast-paced, complex Technology environments.

  • Proven ability to balance multiple, concurrent/parallel activities.


Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in the financial or banking industries

  • Prior experience with SAFe methodology

  • Prior project or program management experience in Cloud projects (Azure highly preferred)

  • A highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills

  • A work ethic and technical knowledge that inspires others to aspire to, with the ability to self-manage workload and deliverables under tight deadlines across multiple product lines in a large portfolio.

  • Project Management skills

  • Continuous learning mind-set to stay updated with evolving technologies and industry trends.
