Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Southeast Regional Director for SMB Restaurant Sales is responsible for driving sales strategy and field execution in one of three regions, with the focus on driving revenue opportunities and profitable growth. This candidate will be able to drive strategies that enable quick, direct sales cycles while keeping full pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and advocating a people management strategy and high-performance culture which includes recruiting, developing and retaining top talent, fostering and leading innovation and change.
The Southeast Regional Director of SMB Restaurant Sales will have primary responsibility for the following:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, including net new customer acquisition, cross-sell/upsell and customer retention.
Create and communicate sales goals and ensure restaurant leadership is informed on the progress of those goals.
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
Negotiate multi-year software and services contracts with direct customers
Operationalyse and execute against NCR Voyix’s strategy to further extend the company's position and profile in the marketplace
Inspire and lead as necessary to drive commercial success
Reports directly to the Vice President of Sales for SMB Restaurants

Experience in growing a fast paced, high-volume transaction-oriented technology business, preferably in the restaurant industry: As shown by a proven sales management track record of growth and profitability. A decisive, action-oriented individual, who has led customer-focused sales organisations to outstanding performance. The ideal candidate establishes aggressive goals and conveys a strong sense of urgency in achieving those objectives.
Collaboration and Influencing Skills in a Complex Organisation: The ideal candidate has an unquestioned reputation for integrity and ethics and has a strong character that will build the trust of others, both internally and externally.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
10 years + of related business and sales management experience along with a proven track record of success in technology sales
Demonstrated experience and understanding of selling solutions and application software to both technology and business decision makers.
Understanding and experience with Solution Selling processes.
Thrives in a robust sales management culture with a weekly commitment and monthly outlook processes. Demonstrated sales leadership with metrics of funnel sufficiency, linearity, and forecasting accuracy.
Lead, coach and develop sales teams in growth environments. Proven track record in sales leadership and management – the ability to coach and mentor named account sales representatives, territory managers, and territory account managers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with partners and building influential relationships with the stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Sales Ops, HR, Support Services, Marketing and Professional Services
Ability to work and manage in a matrix management environment with overlay sales and sales engineering / architecture teams.
