SW Engineer IV (f/t)

Job Description:

Oversee technical aspects of EMV L3 Self Certification phases. Review & advise on EMV L3 Certification process improvements with external Processors. Maintain L3 Certified Terminal Configuration files in accordance with EMV L3 standards. Create new Terminal Configurations for upcoming EMV L3 Certifications. Work with EMV Certification Analysts to analyze and troubleshoot EMV L3 Certification issues. Work with Device Group & Development Team to analyze and troubleshoot EMV issues. Interface with Industry Groups and Card Brands on upcoming EMV enhancements. Evaluate Card Brand EMV Certification mandates & advise on updates to Payment Solutions Products. Develop plan to achieve EMV L3 Self Certification status of our Payments Processor. Define Internal processes to monitor and maintain EMV L3 Self Certification status. Other duties as necessary. Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, followed by five (5) years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.

Experience must include:

• Five (5) years of experience managing EMV Certifications for major retailers.
• Five (5) years of experience with POI/POS, Gateway Acquirer, and Payment Network.
• Five (5) years of experience with coordinating multi-faceted EMV Certification activities and deadlines.
• Five (5) years of experience with UL Collis, or ICC EMV Certification Tools.
• Five (5) years of experience with EMV-related technical analysis and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated knowledge** of Acquirer Self-Signing Certification processes.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted. **Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training, and/or experience. References required.
