About the Position:
The Event & Customer Engagement Marketing Specialist (II) will support the Customer Experience Center (CEC) on the Atlanta campus. This role will join the growing global events team responsible for producing seamless, impactful experiences such as customer engagements, conferences, networking events, trade shows, and internal events, with a specific focus on customer, prospect, partner and VIP guest visits to campus for executive meetings and product demonstrations. The role involves managing customer experience center coordination, communication and reporting for the global events team.
The Event & Customer Engagement Marketing Specialist will provide logistical support and liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth planning and execution of all programs. This includes operating team initiatives such as digital signage across campus, product demonstrations, and supporting the customer reference program. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, extremely organized, thinks strategically, and has proven experience managing meetings and caring for customers. The professional background should be event-industry focused with interest and experience in operations and/or content management.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver white glove service for visiting customers, prospects, partners and VIP guests
Drive multiple projects forward simultaneously
Organize and support meetings and functions with other global events team members, ensuring event elements are well-ordered and the planning team stays on schedule
Provide strategic guidance and best practices to internal teams to ensure seamless, successful experiences from initial stages through execution
Manage logistics, including but not limited to:
Space and site selection
Programming and agenda consultation
Speaker and presenter management
Creative and content development
Budget maintenance
Onsite coordination (product demonstrations, security, food and beverage, signage, etc.)
Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to assess success metrics and identify areas for improvement
Gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders to enhance future events and services
Manage event communications using various marketing email communication tools, including Cvent, Marketo, and MS Suite
Drive budget development, management, tracking and reconciliation
Work closely with product, product marketing, sales and enablement teams to validate meeting strategy and content
Proactively manage meeting requests, project timelines, weekly reports to leadership by maintaining accurate event data through Cvent
Support and promote customer reference program, including maintaining a database for identifying and tracking reference opportunities
Clearly articulate NCR Voyix’s brand vision internally and with third-party production vendors to create best-in-class experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or other related fields.
2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally managing or supporting a customer experience center
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers
Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
A project management expert who effortlessly juggles multiple priorities and hits deadlines
Passion for high-quality work and excellent attention to detail
Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Experience with the Cvent platform
Willingness to travel and work weekends, holidays and nonstandard hours
