Job Description Summary:
PayPal is one of the largest fintech’s processing over 1.5 T in payments volume across 160+ countries. PayPal started it’s journey by serving small business and consumers seamlessly exchange money. Today we are one of the largest payments platform serving the needs of SMB’s to accept payments across the globe. We have recently launched a new product to serve the holistic needs of SMB to accept payments and make payments. We have launched this product in 40+ markets and over the coming years want to grow this platform to serve the needs of SMB”s and platforms globally. We are seeking a strong, seasoned leader to join our team as, SMB Payments Business Lead, which will help PayPal achieve those goals.

Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $143400 to $285450

Job Description:
- Own & accelerate growth by leading efforts to deepen engagement with existing base, reduce churn, scale existing target markets and unlock new use cases combining product, sales and marketing into a holistic Payments strategy & narrative.
- Cross functional collaboration:
- Partner closely with Product on our roadmap to ensure we’re building the right solutions for our current and future target markets.
- Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure we are meeting our collective goals across adoption and revenue.
- Influence cross-functionally across Product, Design, Sales, and Growth to drive alignment on strategy, narrative, and priorities.
- Drive step-function improvements via strategic initiatives across the full funnel of the product lifecycle and go-to-market activities (e.g. product, marketing, sales, account management).
- Represent and own the ‘voice of the customer’ and target market approach across our Payments business unit.
- You will be focused on defining and delivering next-generation capabilities for SMB’s looking to modernize the payments experience and meet their commerce needs.
- As fintech continues to transform offline and digital businesses, your work will enable our customers to model complex business structures, as well as novel structures which may not exist yet.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in fintech, payments, or financial services companies that cater to SMB customers
- Good understanding of Payments landscape in in US and Europe
- Experience leading business functions that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross functional teams
- Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for large scale products
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
- Ability to navigate highly matrixed environments
- Global Experience a plus
