What you need to know about the role: As a Principal Designer within the Design System team, you will work alongside your cross-functional peer group to influence strategic design decisions and ultimately deliver stellar end-to-end experiences across platforms and form factors. Your day-to-day:

In your day-to-day you will:

• Design leadership - drive best practices in process and methodology and deliver against business and customer needs.
• Guide UX efforts across teams, including strategy, planning, working with cross-functional partners to remove blockers and presenting effectively to senior staff and stakeholders.
• Leverage and extend the use of design system, style guides, patterns and assets in the creation of UX deliverables.
• Contribute to the wider UX community, mentoring others, leveraging your strengths to help others grow.
• Ensure that all the organization’s output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand and strategic commitments.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team members (Research, Content Design, UX Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.
  
  
  

What do you need to bring:

• 10 to 12+ years in UX role, bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in the study of user experience, design, research or related fields or equivalent professional experience.
• High degree of craft, taste, and product intuition, with a keen eye towards future trends, emerging technology, and shifting customer expectations.
• Thorough command of the UX lifecycle with deep, direct experience in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques to drive momentum and credibility within the organization.
• Experience managing multiple projects and working through ambiguity.
• Compelling storyteller who can educate as well as entertain.
