Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role: PayPal is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join its Global Sourcing organization within the Finance Org. The person in this position will work closely with Global Sourcing managers as well as the business teams within all functions to ensure that procurement activities are aligned in accordance with PayPal’s strategy as well as planned and prioritized in the most efficient manner in order to achieve optimal usage of resources and deliver maximum business benefit. PayPal’s Global Sourcing team is made up of professionals from around the world who collectively manage over $4B in annual spend across a number of indirect and direct procurement categories. Job Description:
Your day to day:
- Assist with defining and executing the strategy for the procurement of over $600M per year of consulting labor spend
- Manage Global Sourcing projects including analyzing business requirements, defining the strategy, and conducting RFI, RFPs, and Reverse Auctions to drive cost savings
- Utilize procurement tools (SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass) to effectively manage and implement Global Sourcing's goals
- Drive business & data analysis including financial, contractual, and operational performance to help support Global Sourcing projects
- Partner with and provide management reporting oversight of assigned business units for analytics, reporting, and recommendations
- Oversee day to day purchasing activities in our global purchasing tools
- Manage Key Performance Indicators and monitor relevant productivity and operational metric
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent – Focus in Finance or Supply Chain Preferred
- Analytical, detail oriented, organized, and independent.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel and data aggregation skills
- Able to collaborate with remote teams effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- 0-3 years of experience
