Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Management for Micro-Business to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Product Managers and help define the vision, strategy and delivery of commerce and payment solutions that drive significant value for PayPal’s millions of smallest merchants globally. These payment solutions include no-code payments such as via links available via email, tap-to-pay payments, experiences for payments acceptance and monetization of P2P Goods & Services, Business Profiles, and time them together tightly into end-to-end commerce experiences for sellers. Meet Our Team: PayPal is one of the largest fintech processing over 1.5T in payment volume across 160+ countries. PayPal started its journey by serving small businesses and consumers to seamlessly exchange money. Today we are one of the largest payments platforms serving the needs of SMBs to accept payments across the globe. We are launching new products that serve the holistic needs of small businesses to accept payments and start, run and grow their entire business on PayPal.

Job Description:
Your way to impact:

  • Lead a team of high performing Product Managers by defining the strategy and execution through delivery & go-to-market to win the market for casual sellers globally.
  • Work closely with the PayPal and Venmo Consumer product teams to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive a common roadmap that helps casual sellers.
  • Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive and deliver growth initiatives that optimize for the holistic customer experience inclusive of system design and process improvement.


Your day-to-day:

  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, support, finance, and regional counterparts to prioritize and execute the introduction and adoption of new offerings, cross-sell and upsell into the user base, and enable optimizations.
  • Understand the end-to-end customer journey, and use qualitative and data-driven insights to segment, measure, and optimize the performance of growth initiatives.
  • Leverage growth hacking tactics, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and other techniques to rapidly experiment, iterate, and scale.
  • Monitor key metrics and KPIs to track progress against growth goals and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to product growth and user acquisition.


What do you need to bring?:

  • 10 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a proven track record especially in small business, consumer finance, ecommerce or internet software.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency leveraging to inform decision-making and execution plans.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $120300 to $287100
