Job Description:
At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. As an intern, you will experience Regions’ values while receiving job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry
- Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings
- Provides assistance in projects
- Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career
- Responsibilities will vary by internship
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks

Regions Bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 internship program. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience primarily in the commercial real estate industry with a focus on Transaction Management. Transaction Management works closely with other internal real estate teams such as Facilities & Property Management, Project Management, Portfolio Planning, and Portfolio Administration to deliver increased portfolio efficiency, optimization, and improved space utilization for Regions’ corporate properties. The CRE intern will have the opportunity to contribute to value-added projects and learn from experienced professionals in the field. They will work closely with internal real estate teams and learn how each contributes to our company and department goals. They will also work with other internal bank partners such as Retail Distribution Planning, Branch Delivery, Corporate Strategy, Legal, and Finance. All teams play an important role from project conception to completion.
At Regions, the Corporate Real Estate Intern program is focused on an internship associate developing valuable skills and gaining an understanding of the daily operations of Transaction Management within Corporate Real Estate. Throughout the internship, associates may participate in data analytics, preparation of detailed reports and presentations, and contribute to strategic initiatives among other opportunities. Interns will gain practical experience and enhance their skills through meaningful work assignments and training sessions. During the program, interns will build valuable connections with industry and organization professionals and fellow interns. At the end of the program, interns will possess a core set of skills that will be critical for their long-term success.
Interns will work primarily with the Transaction Management team within Corporate Real Estate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in market research, property analysis, client interactions and presentations, negotiation process and interactions with agents and brokers
- Shadow experienced professionals in client meetings, property showings, and lease negotiations to gain firsthand knowledge of the real estate transaction process
- Conduct property site visits to assess physical condition, marketability, and investment potential of properties
- Create pertinent reporting and ad hoc business/product analysis
- Interact with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units
Additional Requirements
- A student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Real Estate, Marketing, Management/Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
- Expected graduation of Fall 2025 or Spring/Fall 2026
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
