Job Description:

At Regions, the Subpoena Processing Specialist receives and processes incoming subpoenas and other requests for information. The position at this level focuses strictly on routine requests, typically low in complexity and do not require escalation to management and/or other internal oversight teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes routine subpoena and other information requests, identifying and producing necessary documents in a timely manner
  • Adheres to established practices and policies during processing procedures
  • Identifies non-routine requests and escalates to the appropriate team members and/or oversight team, ensuring adherence to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) standards
  • Prepares information request responses to external groups (e.g. government agencies, law enforcement, attorneys, courts, etc.) and collaborates for data collection efforts when necessary
  • Maintains and updates case management database and files
  • Prepares invoices for costs associated with production when necessary
  • Leverages knowledge and experience to solve straightforward problems

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • One (1) year of experience in legal or related field

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of banking systems, i.e., Mainframe, Webview, etc.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate facts
  • Ability to manage heavy workload
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

$42,000.00 USD

Median:

$50,650.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job is not incentive eligible.
