At Regions, the Digital User Experience (UX) Operations Analyst provides program management input and operational support throughout user experience UX and across functional teams by increasing communication and connection points, streamlining the UX process, and driving product excellence. Coordinates the work of UX across designers, researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers.

Works independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature and require ingenuity with some latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. Engages with business leaders and managers on projects to ensure their delivery through multi-disciplinary teams to achieve specific business outcomes. Focuses on the successful analysis and evaluation of projects that will help the UX team realize their goals on behalf of the bank.

Has a broad understanding of all UX skillsets — interaction design, content strategy, content authoring, art direction, prototyping, journey mapping, user research, motion graphics, front end development and more. Acts as the face of our UX practice and as such, are highly conversant with the skills required to deliver the best user experience for our customers across all digital platforms, from mobile to desktop, from digital account opening to online banking.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinates requests for User Experience (UX) resources and helps manage delivery of UX work products
  • Attends project inception and plans meetings to help coordinate the UX effort for all projects though the facilitation of project meetings, documentation and management and communication of projects status
  • Engages with projects of key UX design, from co-creation of project briefs to establishing and reaching key milestones
  • Works with vendors on delivery of products and services for UX
  • Drives internal UX projects through analysis and evaluation to execution
  • Proactively anticipate and remove barriers and friction in the project process
  • Works closely with our UX managers, architects and UX leads to regularly improve team communication and process
  • Helps Digital Banking communicate with stakeholders about services the UX team provides and our role on projects
  • Establishes and evolves systems to help the UX design team run smoothly and efficiently
  • Nurtures and streamlines collaboration between UX, agile, front-end developers and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) teams
  • Provides operational support and leadership for the UX design system team to determine priorities, participates in drive planning sessions and coordinating work with cross-functional teams
  • Promotes Regions Design System as a broad, flexible, and sustainable system for delivering design and front-end code at scale at Regions
  • May serve as a resource to associates with less experience

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5) years’ experience designing successful interactive websites/applications or mobile applications
  • Experience with Content Strategy, Design and Front-End Development processes and practices
  • Experience in a project management or coordinating role
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Sitecore is a plus)
  • Knowledge of website marketing and analytics
  • Proven track record for delivering projects involving user experience on time and on budget
  • Knowledge of the agile development process

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
