At Ascentium Capital, the Payment Processing Specialist is responsible for processing lease payments and working with Customer Service in handling processing related issues.
Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide. Our finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, commercial vehicles, and other markets. Primary Responsibilities
- Processes all lease payments received via mail into the LeaseWave System
- Uploads transactions received at Chase Lockbox into the LeaseWave System
- Processes wires received daily through Chase Lockbox
- Researches systems for assistance in account reconciliation
- Assists the Customer Service department with related issues (e.g. misapplied payments and lease booking issues)
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles as well as general office processes

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
