At Regions, the Business Transformation Analyst conducts analysis through strategic thinking, data analytics and banking expertise to create insights that drive informed decision making and ensures execution. This role is responsible to transform analysis through storyboarding and data visualization into tailored leadership communication. This role supports transformation consultants and managers in the execution of the bank’s strategy. This role is a strategic storyteller, critical thinker, innovator, and purpose-driven delivery leader who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys working in team environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports project delivery in all phases of the solution development lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation follow up
  • Performs intermediate to complex research and analysis to gather, analyze and interpret data to support transformation projects
  • Develops business cases for action, defining the problem statement, approach, and benefits of proposed solutions
  • Crafts executive messaging to senior leadership on transformation programs
  • Works closely with the technology, operations, lines of business and enabling functions on a wide range of projects
  • Monitors progress to ensure transformation programs are meeting schedule, scope and financial plans
  • Works alongside and learns from Regions’ cross-functional teams with leaders and peers from varying backgrounds, educations and experiences

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Masters of Business Administration and one (1) year of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related field
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Systems, or related field and three (3) years of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related field

Preferences

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Knowledge of Financial services industry

This position is currently offsite and associates will work from their home primarily. They may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
