At Regions, the Regions Business Capital Originations Associate is directly involved in the design, origination, structuring, and execution of Regions Business Capital products and services for existing and prospective clients. Associates provide these services as part of a client team supporting live deals and pitches across the full spectrum of products and services by providing research, analytical support, and creation of sales materials.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists in cultivation of client relationships by conducting research, staying abreast of client and industry trends
Participates in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other interactions during which they gain exposure to key executives and senior originators
Develops and maintain detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results including modeling financial projections; performing risk rating analysis and calculation RAROCs; spreading and analyzing financial statements; and analyzing collateral data
Prepares written material content for pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with proven record of high achievement
Three (3) years of relevant experience
Preferences:
Prior completion of a credit training program
Knowledge of Asset Based Lending (ABL) markets
Skills and Competencies:
Advanced user in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Commitment and dedication towards excellence and achieving results
Energetic self-starter with willingness to work long hours, take on significant and multiple responsibilities
Strong sense of accountability with a result orientation as part of a collaborative team environment
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
