At Regions, the Quality Assurance Testing Analyst supports the application development organization by conducting complex software testing activities with moderate impact aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs manual testing of applications
  • Analyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs
  • Maintains documentation for testing activities and cases
  • Collaborates with peers to create parameters and comparison data for improved accuracy
  • Performs post-production validation
  • Assists with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testing
  • Assists in the creation of summaries and assessments of the application’s performance, emphasizing trends over time, conducting analysis when necessary
  • Remains abreast of trends in testing tools and strategies
  • May assist management in determining technical knowledge pain points and developing training plans
  • Assists with complex testing projects
  • May offer advice and guidance to junior analysts, assisting in developing business/technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skills
  • May assists with the design, scripting, configuration, and running of performance tests to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance against Non-Functional Requirements

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality or related experience
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in related field and four (4) years of quality or related experience

Preferences

  • Familiarity with Regions’ testing standards
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of test case design and strategy
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

  • Strong knowledge of Tricentis automation software (qTest, Tosca, Testim, etc.)

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary locations being for Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
