Job Description:

At Regions, the Equipment Finance Head is responsible for all aspects of the Equipment Finance line of business. The Equipment Finance Head leads all strategic planning activities in alignment with Bank initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and supervises the activities of all Relationship Team members

  • Represents the Bank by participating in calling efforts on major business accounts with a focus on retention, expansion, and acquisition

  • Communicates bank strategies and action plans to team associates to ensure overall profitability, increased market share, and achievement of all bank initiatives

  • Accountable for overall client experience, financial results, and risk management

  • Leads the Relationship Teams in the Relationship Management Process through a disciplined approach to sales management

  • Balances needs of the client/prospect with Bank credit standards and profitability requirements

  • Ensures the appropriate involvement of business partners to ensure client solutions are complete and value-added

  • Continually provides guidance, feedback, and coaching for Relationship Team associates

  • Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ten (10) years of experience in Equipment Finance or relationship management, six (6) of which served in a management/supervisory role

Preferences

  • Advanced degree

  • Advanced understanding of banking regulations and compliance

  • Advanced understanding of financial principles and practices

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

  • Developed relationship-building skills

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$275,432.30 USD

Median:

$382,470.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
