At Regions, the Corporate Communications Multimedia Content and Infographics Designer may operate as a Web and Infographics Designer OR a Multimedia Content Creator.

As a Multimedia Content Creator, develops engaging digital-first multimedia content that is produced for internal and external audiences. This position supports communication of key company initiatives through the creation of visually appealing materials guided by storytelling for various channels and platforms. Creates compelling multimedia content that contributes to the visual representation of the Regions brand under the direction of the Content Development Manager.

As a Web and Infographics Designer, contributes to the overall look, feel, and design of Regions’ industry-leading company news platform (http://regions.doingmoretoday.com), intranet site and digital content that is produced for internal and external audiences. This position understands and expects that our approach to communications must always evolve. Establishes daily activities and long-term priorities under the direction of the Web and Digital Design Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes, scripts, shoots and edits high-quality short and longer-form video content for internal and external audiences
  • May assists with web page and infographic design for internal and external web properties and other digital media, such as company videos and presentations
  • Creates content that evokes a positive response or incites action/engagement through compelling visuals and storytelling
  • Collaborates with team members to conceive, develop and design multimedia elements that complement stories, social media posts, presentations and more
  • Provides creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for communication of various company initiatives
  • Works closely with marketing and communication teams to ensure multimedia content aligns with overall brand
  • Assists with writing content to be published across various mediums, including scripts, ads, web articles and social media posts
  • Contributes ideas and tactics proactively to help consistently reach a wider audience
  • Stays updated on industry trends and incorporates innovative multimedia techniques to enhance content quality
  • Develops and maintains strict compliance with communications standards governing Regions’ approach to internal and external communications

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Creative Media or related and three (3) years of professional experience in content creation, video production, graphic design, media, public relations, corporate communications, or related field
  • Or High School Diploma or GED and seven(7) years of directly related experience

Preferences

  • Background in content creation, graphic design, video production, advertising, media and/or corporate communications/PR/marketing

  • Strong initiative in conceptualizing ways to support and enhance Regions’ communications strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Helps drive continued implementation and optimization of Regions’ Social Media Playbook to grow overall engagements, impressions, and followers with a focus on key performance indicators, growth activities, and competitor analysis.
  • Develops new, creative, highly engaging Social-first video content to support the growth of Regions Social Media Channels.
  • Develops and executes Social-first video content that elevates Regions’ brand, spotlights our communities, and establishes us as trusted experts. Ensures content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and style.
  • Produces additional content such as photography and social graphics.
  • Balances and organizes multiple media projects at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborates with various teams and flexibly applies feedback.
  • Travels to capture and execute content for live event coverage.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience producing Social-first videos, including brainstorming, scripting, filming, voice over, editing, color and audio correction, and adding native social features.
  • Experience successfully activating brand content and relevant trends in Social Media.
  • Technical proficiency with features on Social Media platforms.
  • Proficiency editing video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Still photography skills, including experience editing images and graphics in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Professional experience working with a variety of film gear including iPhone, DSLR cameras, mics and audio equipment, lighting equipment, etc.
  • Experience directing talent on shoots and ensuring authentic delivery and quality performance.
  • Extensive planning skills – ability to manage multiple initiatives, planning the details while seeing and working toward the big picture
  • Highly organized with media and file management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate on creative projects.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism and offer informed opinions on creative decisions.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

This position is intended to be onsite in Birmingham, AL. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
