At Regions, the Business Unit Operations Supervisor leads a team of typically non-exempt associates performing a variety of operational activities within the line of business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assigns work to staff and determines workflow
- Supervises a small team to ensure that all quality standards are met
- Resolves escalated or complex issues as necessary
- Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements to increase department efficiency
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, and corrective action of associates
- Ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience
- Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of operations or related work experience
- One (1) year of supervisory/management experience
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree or some college experience
- Banking leadership experience

Assists with the maintenance of documentation and records related to training and trainee performance
Monitors training programs, assesses results and statistical data, reports any enhancements to Training and Development Manager
Responsible for transitioning associates from Onboarding to Instructor Led Training (ILT) and leads the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program which consists of training, coaching, and development of new hires
Execute the implementation and scope of training, coaching, and developmental programs to ensure effective learning outcomes for associates
Task and responsibilities may be subject to change based on organizational needs and priorities
Facilitate, Design, approve, and evaluate all training programs, and training materials as needed.
This is an onsite position located in Kingwood, TX
Strongly preferred:
Two (2) years of Contact Center experience
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
