At Regions, the RIS Trading Support Specialist is responsible for providing excellent and timely customer service to clients by submitting trades and answering account related questions. This role supports Financial Advisors across the entire Regions’ footprint.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitors incoming communication via phone and email to submit trades and move money at the direction of the client or Financial Advisor
- Fields questions from clients regarding accounts, statements, tax documents, and transactions as necessary
- Runs and distributes financial reports for internal bank partners
- Acts as a liaison between the client and Financial Advisor
- Serves as a backup to Financial Advisors throughout the footprint on trade related activities
- Ensures SmartWorks data is accurate and up to date
- Notifies Cetera of necessary systems corrections
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of banking or financial services experience
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7
Preferences
- Bank brokerage experience
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 63 & 65 OR Series 66
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to research and solve problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
- Strong analyzing, coordinating, and follow up skills
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
