Role Overview

Slalom’s Intern experience offers select students the opportunity to explore an exciting career in a fast-paced management consulting environment. The learning experience continues through a combination of self-guided learnings, classroom style trainings, hands-on projects, and the ability to network with our leadership team. Students are also encouraged to participate in company events, community groups, and other internal initiatives during their time with us.

What You’ll Do

• Support the design and build of AI tools and accelerators
• Work with a multi-functional development team in an agile environment
• Help develop user stories to support key functionality requirements
• Develop AI code, prompts and agentic workflows using a combination of tools and platforms
• Collaborate with team members during brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Stay up-to-date with AI development trends and best practices to bring fresh insights to the team
• Be an advocate and representative for Slalom’s values that make it one of the Best Places to Work, consistently
• Learn and apply new concepts in a project and team setting where your opinion and voice is appreciated
• Build a network within Slalom (for life!)
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• A strong interest in learning about AI architecture and development
• Advanced skills and experience in relevant tools, including Python, Bedrock, ChatGPT, Claude and GitHub
• Outstanding communication skills with audiences of all levels
• Desire and flexibility to explore new areas and skills, across both technical and business capabilities
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks
• Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and learn new concepts quickly

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the target hourly rate is $20-25/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
