Who You’ll Work With
The Workday Leader is a member of Slalom’s Enterprise Business Applications leadership team, responsible for business and strategic service offerings and delivery of Workday-technology based solutions. Focused on defining and delivering outstanding consulting services to help customers transform their HR and Finance capabilities, unlocking value from their investment in Workday solutions! Leading delivery of an outstanding organization of experienced managers and consultants who deliver excellence through assessments, workshops, value definition in tandem with technical implementations. Ensuring project success and customer satisfaction, contributing to client success through direct engagement and relationships as well as broad practice oversight. Scaling standard methodologies to help Slalom customers innovate to meet constantly evolving customer expectations. By delivering value and impact through business, strategy consulting and technology delivery engagements, this person will meet strategic metrics including revenue, margin, and utilization.
In addition to leading the Strategic practice in the Americas, this leader will orchestrate the thought leadership, methodology, and enablement priorities in conjunction with the rest of the Workday leadership. Lead all aspects of delivery of for high strategy value consulting engagements focused on client value realization, user adoption, and successful execution of multi-solution use cases.
This role may be based in any of our Slalom US based office locations.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a Director is $161,000-$307,000, Sr. Director the base salary pay range is $189,000-$359,000 . In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You’ll Do
- Lead standard methodologies, using global expert practitioners for knowledge and scale
- Lead the delivery model, methodology, and templates to ensure client satisfaction and success while achieving Slalom’s business goals
- Collaborate with Workday’s Product, Sales and Alliance teams and the Delivery Teams to facilitate knowledge exchange. Provide critical input on solution strategy and roadmap, identifying how new technology capabilities translate into people, process, and organizational maturity
- Lead and professionally develop senior people managers and individual contributors responsible for delivery of best-in-class consulting services
- Advise senior customers on major digital initiatives, cultivating strong executive relationships to ensure overall client satisfaction
- Create an offerings' portfolio that will drive customer business value. Collaborate with Sales colleagues to position Workday services for successful delivery
- Lead team performance to meet and exceed targets and critical metrics
- As a senior leader, develop and drive central initiatives across multi-solution cross-functional teams
- Lead and inspire team with positivity and optimism, creating a culture of high expectations and achievement
- Minimum of 15 years' experience leading sophisticated enterprise resource management (people and finance) strategy engagements at enterprise scale
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the Workday partner and professional services ecosystem with knowledge of Workday specific deployment methodologies, deployment packages and market needs.
- Experience leading successful human resources and/or finance organizations to transform leveraging leading technology solutions.
- In-depth practitioner experience and knowledge of strategy consulting, management consulting, and/or functional business consulting
- Experience aligning product feature/functionality to client needs in the market, and tailoring services and results to meet those needs
- Experience managing a portfolio of $20M+ book of business primarily partner focused
- Knowledge of the relevant positioning of Workday’s solution stack in the context of large scale digital business transformation
- Executive leadership skills to develop, influence and empower a diverse and international team to deliver results
- Demonstrated success leading by influence across a matrixed organization. Driving consensus around shared priorities while leading teams in successful execution
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers for the business, with agility in applying those levers to optimize business performance. Meet or exceed goals including revenue and margin targets
- Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and engage both business and technical audiences
- Confidence to lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong client service orientation. Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with client team members resulting in high client satisfaction
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 50%
