Who You’ll Work With

As a Client Partner (Director) in our NorCal market, you will join a team of passionate leaders who are focused on building trusted relationships with our clients in the Retail & Consumer Goods (RCG) sector. You’ll collaborate with Slalom consultants, market leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive growth, deliver meaningful outcomes, and shape the future of our retail and consumer goods industry vertical.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level client stakeholders, building long-term relationships rooted in value and outcomes.
  • Drive new logo acquisition while expanding existing accounts, identifying opportunities to broaden Slalom’s services and solutions.
  • Lead business development efforts, including pipeline generation, sales pursuits, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Partner with Slalom delivery teams to ensure exceptional client experiences and impactful results.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market strategies for the RCG industry in the NorCal region.
  • Represent Slalom in the local market and broader RCG industry, participating in networking and thought leadership activities.
  • Mentor and coach team members to support their career growth and success.

What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of professional experience, with 5–10 years of consulting leadership experience in client-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to hunt, acquire, and grow new logos, as well as expand existing client accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the retail and consumer goods industry, including emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Established local relationships with RCG clients in the NorCal market strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and leading account growth.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Passion for building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional results.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $192,000 to $307,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
