Director, Marketing - Central Region
Slalom is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking marketing director who will lead and drive marketing in the Central Region for Slalom. In this role, you will set the vision, build the roadmap, and lead execution across the region. You will lead a regional team of 10 marketers to increase brand awareness, accelerate demand, and craft great customer experiences, all tightly aligned to our go-to-market priorities. You will be responsible for collaborating and interlocking with regional leadership and our Global Marketing team. You will lead the team to elevate the brand, attract qualified opportunities, grow and expand accounts, and craft memorable client experiences.
Marketers supporting multiple offices may select a primary office in their region as their home office, with occasional business travel to other regional markets as needed. Marketers should anticipate being present in the office 80-100% of the time, with occasional flexibility to work from home with manager approval.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base
salary pay range is $148,000 to $200,000. In addition, individuals may be
eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

- Drive regional marketing strategy: Lead successful end-to-end marketing annual plans across Central Region, working to develop, oversee, and continuously evolve marketing strategy and tactics aligned to go-to-market priorities.
- Lead regional marketing team: Build and inspire a team of 10 marketers to effectively execute local 360 marketing plans, leaning in to support execution as needed. Lead by example and continuously support the marketing team in their career growth and development.
- Execute marketing for Central Region: Execute and focus on various marketing programs which may include advertising, sponsorships, public relations, market trend research, messaging, 360 campaigns, events, storytelling, account-based marketing, social media, and more.
- Drive marketing ROI: Use data to track, analyze and report on marketing budget and results of all marketing campaigns and activities. Iterate on marketing strategy based on past results.
- Manage multiple stakeholders: Balance priorities from multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. Align with Global Marketing and regional leadership to ensure tight interlock across strategies and priorities, influencing the prioritization of functional initiatives through collaborative exchanges.
- Drive marketing innovation: Elevate marketing across the region through test and learn tactics, expanding on successful efforts across the team, sharing across Slalom once proven.
- Manage the regional budget: Effectively manage the regional marketing budget and prioritize investments as needed.
- Communicate priorities and results: Establish a high level of collaboration and maintain communication on all marketing activity and results with executives and leadership teams across Central Region.
- 10+ years’ experience in developing and optimizing comprehensive 360 marketing strategies that effectively support organizational objectives, with 10+ years in a leadership capacity
- 10+ years of in-depth understanding of and direct experience marketing in the consulting industry and proven experience co-promoting consulting services and technology solutions across cloud, business applications, and data & AI capabilities
- Experience building and leading a high performing, multi-disciplinary, geographically diverse marketing team
- Proven ability to align with organizational objectives, set goals, establish measurement metrics, optimize marketing strategies, and demonstrate ROI
- Deep understanding of integrated brand marketing and advertising, encompassing events, sponsorships, internal communications, marketing research, media and industry analyst relations, internet marketing, client-centric marketing, and various campaign types
- Proven ability to develop innovative, experiential marketing campaigns that become the become repeatable and reliable business drivers
- Expert level prioritization with proven experience adjusting marketing plans to evolving business needs across multiple stakeholders
- Successful track record of winning over stakeholders and navigating diverse internal and external relationships including C-Suite
- Experience partnering with Global Marketing teams to ensure the maintenance of global brand standards while effectively localizing strategies to suit local or regional requirements
- Experience developing and managing budgets and handling contract negotiations
- Robust experience with Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and Demandbase
- Advanced degree desired but not required
