Job Title: Technical Solution Architect
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Solution Architect to lead a high-visibility initiative focused on developing robust data pipelines for the M&A Program. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into refined silver and gold layers that serve both as final products and as foundational datasets for downstream analytics and business initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business stakeholders, data scientists, and product managers to ensure seamless integration, transformation, and delivery of high-quality data assets.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership (20%)
- Architect and design scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Develop test scenarios and perform rigorous data validations.
- Solve complex problems programmatically using data structures and algorithms.
- Leverage tools and technologies such as Databricks, SQL, Java (preferred), and AWS services (EMR, Glue, Lambda, S3).
- Build and maintain data pipelines including config and bogie files.
- Develop SQL transformations to support silver and gold zone creation (medallion architecture).
- Define and manage data schemas and datasets.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure reliability and performance.
- Drive story development and backlog refinement.
- Lead Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
- Act as Scrum Master and manage project tasks in Jira.
- Ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
- Mentor and support team members; foster growth and collaboration.
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications.
- Develop status reports, assumption logs, and decision records.
- Create and maintain project schedules; proactively identify and communicate risks and issues.
- Proven experience in data pipeline development and analytics.
- Strong command of SQL and familiarity with Databricks.
- Experience with AWS data services.
- Background in Agile methodologies and project management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Java programming experience.
- Prior experience in financial services or data integration projects.
- Familiarity with medallion architecture and data lakehouse concepts.
