Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Consultant in St Louis, the base salary pay range is $96,000 to $149,000 and Senior Consultant is $110,000-171,000. In Washington DC, the targeted base salary range for Consultant is $105,000 to $162,000 and Senior Consultant the base salary is $120,000 to $186,000. In NorCal, for Consultant, the base salary range is $114,000-$177,000 and Senior Consultant base salary range is $131,000-$203,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You’ll Do
- Implement end-to-end data integrations, syncing customer systems to and from our platform
- Partner with engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, define APIs, and design input/output schemas
- Develop and maintain tools, SDKs, documentation, and internal playbooks that accelerate customer onboarding and long-term success
- Troubleshoot technical challenges, remove blockers, and own escalations arising from customer-facing issues
- Take responsibility for the technical experience of customers throughout their lifecycle
- Work with product and sales teams to understand and surface customer-driven feature requests
- Dive deep into technical domains (e.g. large models, image processing, API ecosystems) and become a subject-matter expert
- Represent and evangelize the platform at customer events and industry gatherings
- This position requires an active [Level - Top Secret, Secret, etc] security clearance
- Proven experience in a hybrid role bridging technical delivery and customer interaction
- Hands-on experience working directly with clients (pre- or post-deployment) to help them achieve business and technical goals
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) or similarly modern stacks
- Strong technical background (CS, mathematics, or another quantitative/engineering discipline)
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak confidently about technical topics to both engineers and leadership
- High intellectual curiosity, empathy, and ability to iterate fast under ambiguity
- Experience in AI or machine learning domains
- Understanding of secure software practices, infrastructure as code, or DevSecOps
- Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) and configuration tools (e.g. Ansible)
