The Business Operations team supports sales, account, and engagement leaders. We bring efficiency to internal functions and enable consultants to focus their time on our clients.

What You’ll Do

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of one or more portfolios (~ 50M annual revenue). This role is focused on operational execution, process facilitation, and business insights, while collaborating with internal teams to utilize standardized reporting solutions. You will report to the Mid America Business Operations Manager.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist pursuit leads in maintaining sales, opportunity, and staffing data in our systems
  • Facilitate deal review process and governance
  • Support account planning processes
  • Facilitate account onboarding and offboarding for strategic accounts (background checks, client credentials, equipment, etc.)
  • Monitor engagement financials and partner with delivery teams to mitigate risks
  • Validate and reconcile consultant time entry
  • Interpret and deliver standard metrics and reporting to support account, industry, and market leaders; partner with analytics teams when new reporting is required
  • Act as a liaison to the Engagement Management Office and other global services teams to resolve operational issues, clarify process, and research complex questions
  • Translate global Slalom priorities into actions and execute within your portfolio(s)

What You’ll Bring

  • 1-4+ years professional work experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with ability to distill information for an executive audience and make complex information easy to understand
  • Financial aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply insights to operational decisions
  • Experience using Microsoft technologies, including Excel, to track information, analyze trends, and support business decision-making
  • Interest in identifying and driving process improvement

Preferred Experience

  • Professional services industry experience
  • Salesforce or similar CRM tool [MM1] [CT2]
  • Experience using dashboards in Power BI or similar analytics tool

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
