The Adoption and Change Management Consultant is responsible for driving successful user adoption of a healthcare scheduling software system across multiple Austin office locations. This role focuses on preparing clinical and administrative users for new workflows through structured training, hands-on support, and targeted change management activities. The consultant works directly with offices to ensure users understand, adopt, and consistently use the software as intended.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $65 to $85/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The consultant works directly with offices to ensure users understand, adopt, and consistently use the software as intended.
What You’ll Do
- Execute wave-based rollouts and support user provisioning activities
- Deliver engaging on-site and virtual training sessions tailored to clinical and administrative staff
- Validate data and ensure workflow alignment prior to go-live
- Provide go-live and post-go-live support, proactively identifying adoption risks and resolving issues
- Reinforce new behaviors through coaching and targeted change interventions
- Track adoption metrics such as system usage and scheduling accuracy; report progress to stakeholders
- Proven experience in change management or end-user adoption for software systems
- Hands-on experience delivering in-person and virtual training
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to support data validation, user readiness, and workflow alignment activities
- Experience supporting go-live and post-go-live stabilization efforts
- Comfort working in fast-paced, multi-site rollout environments
- Familiarity with electronic scheduling systems, EHR-adjacent platforms, or operational healthcare workflows preferred
- Prosci or similar change management certification
- Experience in healthcare settings with clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Consulting experience
