You will bring thought leadership, mentor teams, and help strengthen Slalom’s reputation as a trusted partner in enterprise and AI-enabled transformation.

This role sits within TDL’s Transformation Architecture sub-capability and operates at the intersection of strategy, operating model design, technology, data, and AI. You will partner closely with Slalom’s Data & Analytics, Technology, and Industry teams to ensure transformations are well-designed, adopted, governed, and sustained.

This role has a strong focus on AI-enabled transformation and AI Office enablement, helping organizations move from experimentation to scaled, responsible, and value-driven adoption of AI.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a Transformation Architect and trusted advisor, guiding clients through large-scale business, technology, and AI-enabled transformations with accountability for outcomes, adoption, and value realization.
  • Lead AI-enabled transformation and AI Office initiatives, helping clients:
    • Define AI operating models, governance structures, decision rights, and funding approaches
    • Establish responsible and ethical AI adoption practices aligned to risk, compliance, and enterprise priorities
    • Enable workforce readiness, change, and adoption at scale
    • Transition from pilots and proofs of concept to enterprise AI-enabled capabilities
  • Architect end-to-end transformation approaches that integrate people, process, data, technology, and ways of working, partnering with Data & Analytics and Technology teams for detailed solution design and delivery.
  • Shape and prioritize data- and AI-enabled business use cases, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy, organizational readiness, and measurable outcomes.
  • Create strategic transformation roadmaps based on insights into how enterprise architecture, business processes, data, and new technologies interconnect at scale.
  • Drive business process optimization and organizational change by embedding data-informed and AI-augmented decision-making into operating models and day-to-day execution.
  • Advise executive leaders on transformation strategy, sequencing, and trade-offs, helping them navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders, and sustain momentum across multi-year initiatives.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Slalom’s AI-enabled transformation and AI Office offerings, including points of view, methodologies, and accelerators.
  • Guide and support consultants at all levels, fostering expertise in transformation, data, and AI both within TDL and among partner teams.
  • Lead and contribute to proposal development, shaping transformation approaches from ambiguous problem statements through clear, compelling client value propositions.
What You’ll Bring

To be successful as a Transformation Principal within TDL’s Transformation Architecture capability, you will bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting or advisory roles, leading or advising enterprise-scale business and technology transformations.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping AI-enabled transformation or AI Office efforts, including operating model design, governance, adoption strategies, and executive alignment.
  • Strong fluency in data, analytics, cloud, and AI concepts, with the ability to architect transformation approaches, evaluate trade-offs, and guide strategic decisions, while partnering with Data & Analytics teams for detailed engineering and implementation.
  • Proven experience leading multi-capability, cross-functional programs, aligning business leaders, technologists, and analytics practitioners around a shared transformation vision.
  • Experience framing, sequencing, and governing data- and AI-enabled use cases in support of strategic priorities and measurable business value.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of contemporary enterprise and cloud architectures, providing informed guidance on strategic decisions such as build versus buy, platform strategy, and capability evolution as part of broader transformation efforts.
  • Strong storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex transformation concepts into clear, compelling narratives for senior leaders and diverse audiences.
  • Experience advising executive teams on operating model design, organizational alignment, and governance, particularly in environments undergoing significant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, influence without authority, and operate effectively with senior leaders in complex, evolving environments.
