Our Global Public and Social Impact (PSI) industry team is looking for an Industry Director to lead and drive priority strategic initiatives for the industry. This person will apply industry knowledge and broad business expertise to strategize, plan, organize, and direct key programs for the PSI industry at Slalom, managing cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. This role will partner closely with our Global PSI Lead to establish and oversee our go-to-market approach for the industry – from sales, marketing, financials, solutions, communities of practice, and more.
This is a role with one of Slalom’s global teams – we are open to hiring in many locations. We are open to candidates at the Senior Manager or Director level.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Manager level is $130,000 to $170,000 USD. The targeted base salary range for Director level is $160,000 to $200,000 USD. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Alignment
- Partner with the Industry Lead and leadership team to develop the industry vision and strategy, supporting Slalom’s PSI markets across the company
- Coordinate and manage executive steering committee of key industry leaders across Slalom to align goals and priority initiatives.
- Develop and shape go-to-market (GTM) activities in alignment with industry strategy, including account activation, marketing, solutions, thought leadership, partnerships, and communities of practice.
- Drive and guide research and point of view development on industry disrupting trends, capabilities, and solutions.
- Own the industry strategic initiatives and oversee execution, effectively influencing and collaborating across all of Slalom and with partners.
- Review and help drive industry involvement in strategic accounts, deals, and pursuits.
- Work with marketing and PSI industry leaders to coordinate industry event presence and speaking engagements.
- Coordinate industry approach with our alliance partners.
- Act as a voice of the PSI Industry Lead to help direct, guide, and manage a high-performing team.
- Inform operating model and ways of working to drive collaboration amongst markets, global teams, and within industry team.
- Own and lead key meetings, communications, and general rhythm of business.
- Track to operational reporting and industry financial metrics.
- Manage best-of industry materials and offerings.
- Coordinate with other Industry Directors to share and scale best practices.
- 5+ years experience in the public sector industry (with a focus on government), 10+ years preferred
- A superstar at navigating ambiguity/white space and drive to dig in – ability to get “stuff” done quickly and efficiently
- Blend of a strong strategic and operational mindset, with the ability to see the big picture and outline key outcomes
- An understanding of our business, our organizational structure, the underlying incentives and drivers
- A positive attitude and approach to solving difficult problems
- Exceptionally organized and detailed-orientated; a passion for creating order out of chaos
- Ability to understand our business (numbers & operations) and prioritize efforts and resources for maximum impact
- Ability to build effective working relationships across the entire organization
- The ability to influence without authority with a reputation for getting things done effectively
- Superb people management skills and ability to interact with peers, senior executives, cross-functional stakeholders
