Job Summary
Operating within a global, centralized HR Support Center, the People Services Specialist is a hands-on role where you are part of a team responsible for providing HR related administrative and analytical support to team members in the America’s (US, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia) with a focus on the LATAM region specifically (Mexico and Colombia).
The People Services Specialist’s primary responsibility is supporting HR related cases via our internal case management tool (ServiceNow) and HCM (Workday). To complete this work, you will interact with our team members at varying levels within the organization, as well as perform research, analysis and document preparation; interacting with team members and People Leaders on a variety of HR queries. You'll be a valuable resource for team members, providing guidance and support to make them successful.
This is a temporary role ending in December 2026. The People Services Specialist will be based in our LATAM office in Medellín. This role reports to the Senior Manager, People Services (America’s Region). Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Responsibilities
People Services
- Performs as a key contributor to the People Services function by collaborating with Global People Team COE’s and executing tasks which support the LATAM region (Mexico and Colombia).
- Processes day-to-day HR requests and queries submitted to People Services; ensuring all HR-critical administrative transactions are accurate and handled in a timely and compliant manner. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Researches and resolves technical and functional issues, and responds to questions and requests within our ServiceNow queue.
- Administers key processes such as onboarding and offboarding, affiliations, employee changes, audits, and reporting.
- Serves as a point of contact for HR inquiries from our employees regarding payroll, benefits, policies, employee data, and HR processes and systems; escalates as appropriate to HR functions and People Business Partners.
- Ensures continuous process improvement for all processes and works with business partners and other departments to execute.
- Assists with the documentation of internal processes and controls as needed. Key contributor to the creation of knowledge base content for LATAM, both internally and externally.
- Partners with Workday team members to reconcile and audit data as needed, and support system enhancements and testing.
- Ensures compliance with local, regional, and federal payroll regulations in Mexico and Colombia; including ARL and CCF affiliations in Colombia specifically.
- Assists with special HR projects – which can include plan, design, communication, training, and/or implementation logistics.
- 2-3 years of proven experience working in human resources
- Business-level fluency in Spanish and English is required
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, professional, global business environment such as in customer service and/or support center preferred
- Experience in international and matrix organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work discreetly on a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and cultural practices in Latin America
- Attention to detail with a passion for excellent customer service; resourceful with a natural investigative curiosity
- Strong technical skills: Must be proficient with Workday or comparable HCM, as well as case management tool such as ServiceNow; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality or accuracy; ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
