Who You'll Work With
You will join Slalom's Global Marketing team and lead our Industry Marketing function, owning go-to-market strategy across Slalom's full industry portfolio. In this leadership role, you will partner with industry business leaders, solution and partner marketers, and field teams to drive growth across the industries Slalom serves including Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, and more. You lead a team of industry marketers and work with a broader marketing leadership team to develop industry positioning, messaging, and integrated go-to-market plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Role Overview
The Director of Global Industry Marketing will lead marketing strategy and execution across Slalom's industry portfolio, with a focus on building differentiated market presence, accelerating pipeline, and deepening client engagement in each vertical we serve.
You will bring deep knowledge of B2B industry marketing, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, executing integrated marketing programs, and developing go-to-market strategies that drive results at scale. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketing leader to define how Slalom shows up across every industry it serves, shaping the narratives, campaigns, and content that connect our expertise to the clients who need it most.
As a leader, you will collaborate extensively with industry business leaders, marketing peers, executive stakeholders, and external partners to develop and execute strategies aligned to Slalom's overall growth objectives. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Director is $161,000 to $201,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You'll Do
- Develop a comprehensive, multi-year industry marketing strategy across Slalom's full industry portfolio, working closely with industry leads, marketing leadership, and alliance and sales leaders
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of industry marketers, each owning a vertical or group of industries, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and growth paths
- Drive the planning and execution of integrated marketing programs across paid, owned, and earned channels — ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and connected to measurable outcomes
- Serve as the marketing partner to industry business leaders, leading executive planning conversations and aligning marketing investment to revenue performance and market positioning
- Collaborate with Slalom's solution, partner, and field marketing teams to develop comprehensive, integrated campaigns that span industry, capability, and geography
- Lead planning for industry-aligned events and conferences, developing pre- and post-event strategies that maximize engagement and ROI, aligned to shared business goals
- Evaluate and prioritize incoming requests across industries based on strategic alignment, resourcing, and expected business impact — protecting team capacity and ensuring focus on the highest-value efforts
- Own and manage the industry marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently across the portfolio to achieve the highest return and providing transparent reporting to marketing and business leadership
- Utilize data-driven insights to measure performance, optimize tactics through a test-and-learn approach, and deliver regular reporting that connects marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Foster a culture of strategic rigor, continuous improvement, and executional excellence across the global marketing team
- 10+ years of demonstrated success leading industry or vertical marketing portfolios, including shaping industry positioning, messaging, and multi-channel go-to-market strategies
- Deep understanding of integrated industry marketing strategies and activities, from thought leadership and content strategy to events, sponsorships, demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and partner marketing
- Proven experience building and leading a team of marketers, with a strong track record of developing talent, managing performance, and creating a high-accountability team culture
- Experience as a senior marketing partner to VP- and C-suite-level business leaders, including leading executive planning conversations and translating business strategy into marketing investment
- Data-driven, results-oriented marketing leader with the ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes across a shared vision
- Strong experience managing budgets across a complex, multi-stakeholder marketing function, with a track record of efficient resource allocation and ROI accountability
- Familiarity with the technology partner ecosystem and running partner-aligned campaigns, including AWS, Databricks, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce and Snowflake
- Experience using marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement experience preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to operate credibly at the executive level and inspire action across functions and geographies
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while remaining agile and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- At least 10 years of B2B marketing experience, with significant experience in industry, vertical, or solutions marketing for a professional services, consulting, or technology firm
- Ability to travel up to 15%
