As a Data & AI Go-to-Market Leader for the Media/Entertainment/Gaming/Sports industry, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Slalom’s data and AI offerings in this sector.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Director level the base salary pay range is $233,000 - $285,000. For this position at the Sr. Director level the base salary pay range is $253,000 - $319,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

- Strategic Solutioning: Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and statements of work (SOW) to drive business growth. Identify opportunities for Slalom in data and AI, both in existing and new environments.
- Architectural Excellence: Lead the modern data architecture pillar (Databricks and/or Snowflake) ensuring excellence in delivery, sales, people management, and operations.
- Subject Matter Expertise: As a senior leader, engage with clients, influence executives, and drive customer-focused solutions. Leverage your deep understanding of data and intelligence to deliver value.
- Data and AI Thought Leader: Serve as a data and AI thought leader by speaking at external events and partnering with marketing to create and lead thought leadership events.
- Financial Insights: Conduct TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment) analyses to guide technical decisions.
- Platform Design: Architect, design, and develop end-to-end data and analytic platforms (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, ML models) using cloud services.
- Revenue Impact: $2.5M - $5M+ (*varies based on Director/Sr. Director)
- Utilization: 25% - 45% (*varies based on Director/Sr. Director)
- Experience:
- 15+ years in consulting leadership, with at least 5+ years specializing in data architecture and engineering solutions within cloud environments (Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is required; additional experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services is preferred).
- Ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling, data pipeline development and DevOps + CI/CD. AI/GenAI/ML proficiency a huge plus.
- Industry Expertise: The ideal candidate will have a strong data background within Media, Entertainment, Gaming and/or Sports industries.
- Technical Consulting Sales: 7-10 years of leading technical pursuits, with proven success partnering with sales and consulting leaders to craft custom technical data solutions for clients
- Activator Mindset: Demonstrate high ownership, curiosity, and persistence to proactively identify, pursue, and develop opportunities, using Data & AI as a catalyst to expand relationships and drive growth.
- Drive Outcomes: Shape solutions with clients that focus on business outcomes and impact.
- Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Development: Track record of growing existing client relationships and expanding new accounts.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep familiarity with cloud platform analytics services, including storage, permissions, private cloud, databases, virtual machines, and parallel processing technologies.
