Who You’ll Work With

You’ll join a growing area within Slalom’s Microsoft practice, working closely with our Finance Transformation and Organizational Change teams to help customers modernize ERP with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). This is a delivery-led role where you’ll work directly with customers and their teams to shape and validate solutions with them. You’ll also support pursuits and practice building, with delivery grounding how we shape and stand behind the solutions we shape with our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end D365 F&O functional delivery from discovery through cutover and post go-live support, owning outcomes.
  • Lead discovery and process analysis workshops; drive fit-gap analysis and translate requirements into end-to-end designs and configuration decisions.
  • Own functional design including the solution blueprint, process flows, functional specifications (functional design document), and user stories or product backlog items.
  • Lead a team of functional & technical consultants, providing day-to-day guidance and review.
  • Lead customer workshops, drive decisions, and align stakeholders on scope, tradeoffs, and readiness.
  • Lead or support pre-sales through discovery, solution shaping, demos, and estimates.
  • Own the functional workstream plan and partner with the Delivery Lead or PM on the integrated plan.
  • Lead SIT and UAT triage, including defect analysis, coordination with technical teams, and validation of fixes.
  • Support training, cutover planning, and go-live readiness so the solution meets business objectives and improves how your customer’s teams operate day to day.
  • Build with customer teams by sharing knowledge throughout delivery so they can support and evolve the solution after go-live.
  • Lead a team of peers in a collaborative environment, working with trust, supporting each other’s growth while staying accountable for outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Must have

  • Led multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations or migrations, from discovery through deployment and hypercare.
  • Strong experience leading fit-gap analysis and defining functional design for D365 F&O.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer workshops, drive decisions, and gain alignment across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into configuration decisions and functional designs aligned to end-to-end outcomes.
  • Experience leading SIT and UAT, including functional validation and defect management.
  • Delivery-led pre-sales supporting discovery, solution shaping, demos, and estimates, grounded in delivery experience as you’ll often be part of the team delivering what you propose.
  • Experience leading functional and technical consultants or business analysts and coordinating delivery across teams.
  • Current Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) certification aligned to the role.

Nice to have

  • Practical finance and accounting experience, enabling you to partner with Slalom Finance Transformation team members and customers to translate business needs into workable solutions in D365 F&O and Power Platform.
  • Experience implementing D365 first-party agents and custom Copilot agents for customers.
  • Ability to tell a clear customer-facing story about D365 first-party agents and agentic-led workflows.
  • FP&A experience, ideally including the Business Performance Planning module.
  • Power BI hands-on development experience.
  • Working knowledge of D365 F&O and the surrounding technical stack (LCS, integrations, or extensions using Power Platform and/or Azure PaaS services).
