We are seeking a skilled Product Strategist to lead both near-term MVP definition and long-term product direction. This role is responsible for aligning stakeholders, synthesizing complex inputs, and translating insights into actionable, build-ready recommendations.
The Product Strategist will play a critical role in ensuring early deliverables are met while establishing a clear, prioritized roadmap that supports continued iteration and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
MVP Strategy & Early Delivery
- Act as an MVP-focused product strategist responsible for aligning stakeholders across business, technical, and operational teams
- Synthesize technical and operational inputs into clear, actionable, build-ready recommendations
- Serve as the primary facilitator for feature prioritization, including DVF scoring
- Lead backlog creation, ensuring features are clearly defined and ready for execution
- Coordinate activities to deliver early outputs within Weeks 1–3
- Establish a clear, prioritized roadmap to support immediate delivery
- Drive accountability to ensure critical early deliverable commitments are met
Product Roadmap & Long-Term Strategy
- Define and evolve the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with MVP direction
- Ensure ongoing coordination with pre-defined operational and technical requirements
- Support continued iteration and refinement of product priorities based on emerging insights
- Establish and maintain the measurement plan, including benchmarking and monitoring
- Ensure alignment between near-term execution and long-term strategic direction
Hands-On Product Execution
- Develop and maintain user stories, backlog items, and supporting artifacts
- Translate strategy into execution-ready deliverables that support delivery teams
- Maintain a clear and actionable backlog aligned to prioritized roadmap outcomes
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Product Strategist, Product Manager, or Product Owner in complex environments
- Strong experience defining MVPs and building product roadmaps
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate prioritization and translate inputs into actionable outputs
- Hands-on experience with user stories, backlog creation, and product artifacts
- Ability to align stakeholders and drive decision-making in ambiguous environments
- Strong communication and synthesis skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Consulting experience and a proactive mindset.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $70 to $85/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
