Hybrid/In-office: This is not a fully remote role and there are expectations that if your team leaders or client requires you onsite that you can meet those expectations/requirements. This position is open to candidates based in any U.S. city with an existing Slalom office location.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled, hands-on consultant with demonstrable experience in delivering significant value to businesses of different scales. Slalom’s Transformation team acts as connective tissue; bringing together all the right capabilities and expertise to serve our (public and private sector) customers in the US. The team advises on business transformation, supports hands-on delivery and enables capability and culture uplift.
What You’ll Do
- Our Transformation consultants are multi-hatted with skills and experience in business analysis, change management, process mapping and optimization. Your key responsibilities include fostering strong customer relationships, delivering quality solutions, customer value and more.
- As a Transformation Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will excel in delivery, apply thoughtful skills to drive value; and build proficiency in pursuit and engagement roles. You will take ownership and responsibility for areas of focus and solutions and help grow our presence, brand, breadth and community.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled operational improvements, including workflow automation, knowledge management, and scalable delivery models leveraging emerging technologies such as large language models and intelligent agents.
- Support clients through AI and digital transformation initiatives by helping assess current-state processes, define future operating models, and drive adoption of data- and AI-informed ways of working across business and technology teams.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate evolving business needs into scalable transformation roadmaps, balancing speed, change management, and long-term operational sustainability in fast-moving environments.
- Apply a hypothesis-driven and experimentation mindset to transformation work, helping clients navigate ambiguity, iterate quickly, and operationalize innovative solutions that improve efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in project management, operational improvement and/or organizational effectiveness, implementing structured process optimization, change, communications, engagement, and/or learning.
- Technical expertise (and preferably accreditation) in an area of focus such as Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, change management, agile methodologies, facilitation or leadership coaching.
- Experience designing business processes and interactions that drive business outcomes.
- Able to purposefully identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues.
- Able to design and facilitate sessions focused on vision, mission, objectives and results.
- Able to develop specific plans to mitigate or address client concerns and transformation risks.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and interfacing confidently with clients.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring across multiple U.S. markets. Salary ranges vary by location and leveling. Target base salary ranges below are representative of select U.S. markets.
Target base salary pay range for a Consultant is:
Denver, CO / Chicago, IL / Detroit, MI: $77,000-115,000
Seattle, WA: $84,000-125,000
San Francisco, CA: $92,000-135,000
Target base salary pay range for a Sr. Consultant is:
Denver, CO / Chicago, IL / Detroit, MI:$102,000-150,000
Seattle, WA: $111,000-165,000
San Francisco, CA: $121,000-180,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
