What You’ll Do

The Business Operations Analyst will join a team responsible for the end-to-end operations of one of Slalom’s strategic technology accounts. The Business Operations team supports sales, account, and engagement leaders. We enable consultants and leaders to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes by driving efficient business operations. You will execute and improve repeatable processes, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, manage time entry and invoicing, and deliver accurate reporting. This is an analyst-level role ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating with others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist pursuit leads in maintaining sales, opportunity, and staffing data in our systems.
  • Support client contracting and procurement processes through internal systems, coordinating with internal and client stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate consultant onboarding and offboarding activities, including client credentials, background checks, equipment, and other account access requirements.
  • Execute and continuously improve standardized operational processes that support the sales and delivery lifecycle.
  • Validate consultant time entry and partner with teams to resolve discrepancies that impact billing and financial reporting.
  • Monitor engagement financial performance and partner with delivery teams to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Analyze operational and business data to build reports and dashboards that support decision-making for account and market leadership.
  • Partner with the Engagement Management Office and other Global Services teams to resolve operational issues and research complex questions.
  • Support implementation of operational initiatives and drive adoption of new processes and tools across the account.
  • Provide operational support for client meetings, events, and other account activities as needed.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional experience (including internships, co-ops, or other relevant experience) in business operations, finance, administration, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships and provide responsive, professional support to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to understand and apply financial concepts in support of business operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support operational decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new business systems and technologies.
  • Interestin learning and using AI tools to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance day-to-day work.
  • Interest in identifying and driving process improvement

Preferred experience:

  • Experience supporting operations within a professional services or consulting organization.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards in Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool, or a demonstrated interest and ability to learn business intelligence and reporting tools.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Seattle is $58,000 to $87,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
