Slalom's Ohio Valley Market is seeking a Client Partner (Director) to help expand our presence and accelerate growth in the Cincinnati region. We are looking for an experienced consulting leader who has successfully balanced client delivery, account leadership, and business development responsibilities within a consulting or professional services environment. The selected candidate must be based in the Greater Cincinnati area and will play a key role in building new client relationships, growing strategic accounts, and expanding Slalom's footprint across the market.
We are particularly interested in leaders with experience and relationships in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, or broader Consumer industries. As a Client Partner, Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, drive strategic account growth, oversee delivery excellence, and help clients solve complex business and technology challenges.
What You'll Do
- Carry annual revenue responsibility of approximately $4M–$6M+ through account growth, client expansion, and new business development
- Build and deepen executive-level relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to client leaders
- Develop and execute account strategies that drive measurable business outcomes and long-term client value
- Expand Slalom's presence across the Cincinnati market through strategic account development and relationship building
- Identify, shape, and close consulting opportunities across Slalom's capabilities
- Lead account planning, pursuits, proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal execution
- Provide executive oversight for client engagements to ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction
- Maintain an individual utilization target of approximately 40%
- Partner with capability leaders, delivery teams, and alliance partners to bring innovative solutions to clients
- Support recruiting, mentoring, and development of team members
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience leading client relationships, business development, and delivery teams within a management consulting, technology consulting, or professional services organization
- Proven success growing consulting accounts through executive relationship development, new business acquisition, and delivery excellence
- Experience managing consulting portfolio performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and client satisfaction
- Strong business development skills with a history of identifying, shaping, and closing consulting opportunities
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers
- Experience selling and delivering complex business and technology consulting engagements
- Background and relationships within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, or related industries preferred
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Ability to balance business development, account leadership, delivery oversight, financial management, and people leadership responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $164,000 to $246,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
