Please review the following job description:

This senior leadership position is responsible for creating, communicating, and executing a strategy for the control and management of enterprise corporate programs, including but not limited to: Corporate Travel, Corporate Expense Card, Office Supplies, Company Store and associated centralized enterprise purchasing programs. Lead the strategic direction and execution by determining short and long-term goals and objectives for the department and identifying opportunities to positively impact the company. Direct a team who will seek opportunities for continual improvement in efficiencies and enhancements in teammate experiences while ensuring compliance and collaboration with lines of business to meet specific business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Develop and enforce all associated policy, process and contracted supplier usage performing consistent analysis for process improvement; responsible for the communication, education, training and governance and enforcement.

2. Collaborate with the Truist senior leaders to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, control consumption and material cost reductions of discretionary spend related to Corporate Programs.

3. Responsible for reporting program results and related data (spend, savings, duty of care, SLA, KPI/KRI, etc.) to executive management, Divisions, and other enterprise reporting channels.

4. Demonstrate synergies between programs, Divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates to lead the organization from a decentralized functional approach to a centralized enterprise shared service model.

5. Implement improvements in all phases of corporate programs processes and procedures, contracted third party programs, product/service requirements and proactively manage third party related risks.

6. Develop third party strategies & relationships; negotiate quality requirements with third parties including airlines, hotels, ground transportation, and merchandise. Monitor and measure key performance indicators to ensure a superior service level is delivered to teammates.

7. Establish and manage strategic partnerships with Executive Services and Marketing as synergy channels leveraging all aspects of the enterprise shared service model to optimize volumes for fiscal benefits and service levels.

8. Align with corporate financial initiatives to develop business cases and associated metrics in order to establish support for individual programs.

9. Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented growth mindset culture aligned Truist purpose, mission, and values.

10. Attracts, retains, and promotes top talent, with a strong focus on diversity and builds a robust slate of credible successors for key leadership positions and for opportunities across Truist.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality Management or equivalent education and related training.

2. 10 years of senior management managing third party delivered solutions across Corporations.

3. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in team development and thought leadership.

4. Extensive corporate travel management, procurement, third party risk management and operations experience

5. Direct management experience of a function with strategic development responsibilities.

6. Must have exceptional skills in communication, leadership, consulting/coaching, analytical and problem solving, strong business acumen and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

7. Working knowledge of Travel & Expense reporting and processing and Corporate Travel Management /Global Distribution System technology solutions.

8. Knowledge of Duty of Care, international travel regulations, customs and currencies.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advance graduate degree.

2. Related professional certification(s).

3. Experience in decentralized and highly matrixed environments where leadership and influencing skills are necessary to bring about change is preferred.

4. Ideally, this experience should be broad based involving several of the following functions: Travel, Meeting Management, centralized corporate programs, and third party management.
