The Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for the development and management of an inside sales team. Responsibilities include the hiring, training, coaching, and development of the inside sales team with the goal of increasing dealer activation rates and year-over-year production growth numbers. This will include the creation of company approved standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, data tracking and reporting.Team Leadership and Development
- Proven track record in creating, leading, and nurturing high performing inside sales teams in the B2B sector.
- Strong capability in coaching, mentoring, and guiding inside sales reps to increase effectiveness and meet targets.
- Proven ability to drive the team to exceed goals through strategic leadership.
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships
- Dedication to maintaining high customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Experience in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Strategic Sales Planning and Implementation
- Expertise in formulating and executing an outreach program that boost contact rates and drive revenue.
- Experience in setting achievable sales goals and implementing actionable plans to exceed targets.
Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and evaluate sales numbers, generate reports, and provide insights to leadership.
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed to achieve sales targets.
Operations Oversight and Efficiency
- Strong organizational skills and experience in process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Commitment to compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Effective Communication and Cross-Team Collaboration
- Outstanding communication skills that create a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Adept at serving as a bridge between the inside sales team and other departments, ensuring seamless coordination.
CRM Utilization and Data Accuracy
- Skilled in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
- Ability to maintain up-to-date, accurate CRM data, and leverage it for informed decision-making.
Market Intelligence and Innovation
- Ability to stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and new market developments.
- Provide coaching and guidance on positioning company strengths against competitor weaknesses.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the inside sales team.
Training
- Partner with the Business Development Director to identify outbound training opportunities
- Conduct training meetings and webinars for dealer base
- Relay dealer feedback regarding existing loan process
Develop and maintain training videos for dealer and dealer associations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
Minimum of five years’ experience managing a sales team.
8+ years overall relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in home improvement sales, lending, and/or consumer finance experience is a plus.
