This role will report to the IBCM Strategic Execution and Business Management Lead with responsibility for assisting in execution of IBCM’s strategic plan and the administration of key operating routines supporting the Investment Banking, Capital Markets, M&A and Sales, Trading & Research teams at Truist.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate foundational understanding of IBCM’s strategy and top priorities and translate into relevant content for ongoing business operations and key routines
• Illustrate the ability to own part of or entire small workstreams that make up larger IBCM strategic initiatives
• Serve as a facilitator in the execution and project management of top priority initiatives within IBCM to include defining logistics and approaches needed to operationalize business strategies, and ensuring all participants are organized and aligned on execution plans; requires the ability to be a meaningful contributor to complex, cross-functional initiatives that accelerate performance and results
• Lead the development and execution against ad-hoc requests from the CEO of Truist Securities and the IBCM Strategic Execution and Business Management Lead; generally related to gathering data to support decision making and preparing content to support targeted discussions.
• Own and facilitate the cohesive measurement of progress against top priority initiatives within IBCM; involves creating standard process to track progress and facilitating monthly check-ins
• Will work with the Business Management Leads of Sales and Trading, Capital Markets, M&A and Investment Banking Coverage to support the tracking of business performance, execution of business priorities and processes, and monitoring of required controls
• Strong calibration and communication skills to partner with Finance, HR, Credit Risk Management, Legal Compliance, Marketing and Technology in executing IBCM strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

• Strong academic credentials – college degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
• 3-5 years of experience within consulting, business management, or financial services organization
• Ability to present data and business considerations in a structured manner.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrated understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs and policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in financial services / banking industry
• Project Management and/or Business Analyst experience
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to summarize complex, detailed analysis into executive-level summarize
• Ability to lead by influence (relationship building).
• Knowledge of consumer / small business / direct banking
