Truist Corporate Finance Group originates and structures bank debt in the Commercial and Corporate Banking (TCCB) supporting leveraged buyouts, acquisition financing, recapitalization transactions, and other capital structure transformative transactions involving founder and private equity owned companies. The Corporate Finance Analyst plays an integral role in supporting senior teammates in new business development, due diligence, and/or transaction execution, while building relationships among key stakeholders within the bank. Responsibilities involving, but not limited to due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

Truist’s Corporate Finance Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts join the Corporate Finance team to play a meaningful role in supporting senior banking professionals.

Corporate Finance Analysts will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of TCCB and clients, and gain experience the corporate finance playbook and products through on-the-job training. Within the group Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.

The Corporate Finance Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.

Location:

This role is primarily for our Atlanta, GA office with a secondary emphasis on Charlotte, NC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2025 or May/June 2026
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • FINRA licenses: Securities industry Essentials Exam (SIE), Investment Banking Series Exam (79) and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (63) or ability to attain within 120 days of start date.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Business major
  • Overall GPA of 3.0
  • Strong interest in finance and investment banking
  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
  • Up to 1 year of related work experience
