Please review the following job description:

Lead the execution and share in the origination of Mergers & Acquisition activity across Investment Banking, CCB and PWM. Support advisory results across industry verticals and business lines primarily through sellside and buyside transactions, coordinating with other strategic products (DCM and ECM) to deliver the entire bank. A seasoned senior M&A banker is expected to support and execute $3 million to $15 million in M&A related revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Prominent in the industry as a recognized expert in and thought leader for mergers and acquisitions
2. Sets strategy and objectives for the M&A Department
3. Support M&A revenue production and business growth
4. Assist in origination and/or execution of transactions as group head
5. Influences and is accountable for business matters of significance through partnership across multiple LOBs within The Company.
6. Manage pipeline forecast process
7. Manage for executional excellence in deal processes across entire team
8. Attract, retain and develop talent of a mid to large size team, with focus on diversity.
9. Drive talent management process including regular feedback, performance reviews, promotions and compensation
10. Manage M&A risk (engagement letters, fairness opinions, pitchbook review)

Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. Minimum of 14 years of related work experience
3. Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital raising spectrum
4. Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products
5. Proven ability to develop, nurture and monetize "trusted advisor" client relationships with senior executives
6. Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem solving attitude
7. Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
8. Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA degree, with a Finance focus
2. 18+ years of related work experience
3. 10-12 years of management experience
The annual base salary for this position is $400,000.
