Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to buyside and sellside M&A, debt and equity capital raising, designated by industry/sector. Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media and telecom. Senior investment banking professionals are expected, over time, to generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million subject to the attributes of their sector coverage. In addition, senior investment banking professionals are expected to "sell the bank" by appropriately positioning the banks treasury and payment solutions product suite as well as floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance and other services. Senior investment banking professionals are also expected to serve the bank's corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and the aforementioned traditional investment banking services in partnership with the primary Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prominent in the industry as the recognized expert in and thought leader for the industry vertical, respective management teams and companies as well as the relevant private equity investors2. Sets strategy and directs the activities for a specific industry sector focused on growth of fee generation, growth of the team, and development of talent and future leadership
3. Responsible for managing and supervising a team of senior banking professionals to deliver M&A advisory services as well as debt and equity capital raising to corporate and private equity clients in the industry subsector
4. Responsible for strategically developing and maintaining relationships with C-suites of corporate clients, Boards of Directors of corporate clients, and relevant senior investment professionals of private equity firms
5. Responsible for business generation and pitch attendance with his/her team of bankers
6. Involved in deal selection
7. May participate in strategic decision-making outside their specific area
8. Influences and is accountable for business matters of significance through partnership across multiple LOBs including Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Private Wealth, McGriff and other areas of the bank
9. Attract, retain and develop talent of a mid to large size team, with focus on diversity
10. Occasional responsibility for representation with fiscal, legal, regulatory, trade entities and shareholders
11. The Practice Group Head is responsible for overseeing the risk borne by the group and ensuring that sound risk management practices are adhered to and appropriate risk/reward tradeoff is managed. He/she screens any new credit requests to determine whether the potential transaction warrants screening and lending support
Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. Minimum of 14 years of related work experience
3. Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital raising spectrum
4. Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and products
5. Proven ability to develop, nurture and monetize "trusted advisor" client relationships with senior executives
6. Extensive network of relationships with sector management teams, Boards of Directors and Private Equity Investment Professionals
7. Advanced analytical and technical skills combined with a problem solving attitude
8. Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
9. Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA degree, with a Finance focus
2. 18+ years of related work experience
3. 10-12 years of management experience
