Support the Client Profitability and Performance Analytics (CPPA) team by developing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards, visualizations, and analytics outputs. This role transforms data into actionable insights for stakeholders, enabling improved profitability and performance across all lines of business. The position blends technical BI development with business acumen, focusing on hands-on dashboard/report creation and data analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data visualization and analytics.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver ad hoc reporting and actionable insights that drive performance outcomes.
  • Ensure data integrity and optimize queries for performance across large datasets.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and enhance BI capabilities.
  • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for BI platforms and related systems.
  • Document processes and contribute to data governance and visualization standards.
  • Participate in project management, presentations, and reporting as needed for Corporate Finance & Strategy initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in BI development, data visualization, analytics, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense), SQL, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with some banking products; inclusive of Capital markets, Commercial Banking, Consumer and Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, and deposits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud data platforms, e.g., Snowflake, Anaconda Enterprise, SageMaker, or Sigma
  • Hands-on experience supporting models, tools, or data with python and libraries such as pandas
  • Exposure to profitability, pricing, or performance metrics in a corporate or financial services setting.
  • Experience managing complex data sets and supporting ad hoc business requests.
