Responsible for providing analytical and administrative support for the execution of divisional, group, and team initiatives within the Legal Specialty Commercial Banking segment. Performs reporting, financial analysis, portfolio insights, and process reviews to support business performance and strategic objectives. Serves as a subject‑matter resource for commercial banking systems, products, services, and processes relevant to law firm clients. Participates in project management activities, collaborating with Relationship Managers and cross‑functional partners to support client coverage, operational effectiveness, and ongoing business initiatives.1. Business Reporting & Performance Analysis
Develop, maintain, and analyze periodic reports and management materials related to business performance, portfolio trends, pipeline activity, system usage, and departmental initiatives within the Legal Specialty Commercial Banking segment. Provide clear, concise analysis to support leadership decision‑making.
2. Commercial Banking Subject‑Matter Expertise (Legal Specialty)
Serve as a subject‑matter resource for assigned areas, demonstrating strong working knowledge of commercial banking products and services relevant to law firms, including credit structures, treasury management, deposit products, pricing, and risk considerations. Maintain familiarity with applicable systems, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
3. Strategic Initiative & Project Support
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of divisional initiatives and projects supporting the Legal Specialty Commercial Banking business. Collaborate with relationship managers, credit partners, operations, and product teams, contributing analytical insights, documentation, and process support throughout project lifecycles.
4. Industry, Market & Competitive Research
Conduct ongoing research related to the legal industry and law firm business models, including market trends, financial performance drivers, competitive dynamics, and emerging risks or opportunities. Synthesize findings to support portfolio strategy, client discussions, and internal planning.
5. Process Improvement & Operational Effectiveness
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, workflows, client onboarding, credit processes, and internal coordination. Perform administrative and operational tasks such as preparing presentations, coordinating meetings, organizing materials, and assisting with training on new processes, systems, or programs.
6. Client Assimilation & Relationship Management Development
Develop a comprehensive understanding of an assigned group of existing law firm clients, including their business models, financial performance, credit structures, and banking needs. Partner closely with Relationship Managers to support client coverage with the goal of progressively assuming greater responsibility and developing toward a future role as Relationship Manager and primary client advisor.
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or marketing, or equivalent education and related training.
2. Six or more years of experience in analytical role within financial services industry or other related. business, and/or have participated in an enterprise sponsored Leadership Development Program.
3. Demonstrated project management and coordination skills in a professional or financial services environment.
4. Strong quantitative analysis skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to effectively lead meetings with various key partners and collaborate with individuals at any level of the organization.
7. Ability to work independently.
8. Strong proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
2. Graduate of an enterprise sponsored Leadership Development Program.
3. Banking or financial services experience, with an emphasis on commercial banking, treasury, capital markets, etc.
4. Knowledge of Operational Procedures and systems.
5. Knowledge of SAS or statistical software.
6. Familiarity with training and continuing education requirements for professional credentials such as National Association of Securities Dealers Licensing (7, 63, 65, 24, etc.), Certified Financial Planner, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.
