ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and help administer the enterprise Spend Approval process, ensuring consistency, transparency, and adherence to governance standards
  • Provide independent financial analysis and challenge on material spend and investment requests
  • Prepare executive-ready materials and summaries to support spend approval discussions and decisions
  • Assess forecast impacts of approved spend and track actual outcomes versus expectations
  • Partner with Line of Business (LOB) CFO teams and business leaders to ensure accurate, timely, and complete submission of spend approval requests
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of operating and investment spend across the enterprise to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Track, analyze, and report on enterprise-wide expense efficiency initiatives
  • Leverage and help develop automated reporting and analytical tools to improve process efficiency, data quality, and insight delivery

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to four years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or data management (internship experience considered)
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in process improvement or process optimization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial services or large enterprise financial management practices
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to or experience with data, automation, or visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI
