Please review the following job description:

Perform mortgage loan re-verification requirements in adherence to investor/insurer guidelines and Transaction Risk Monitoring procedures. Work independently in a team environment, and ensure assignments are started and completed timely. Perform verbal requests and follow-up in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Electronically order reverification of information from a mortgage loan file, including a credit report, tax transcript and/or field review.
2. Request reverification of information from a mortgage loan file, including employment, assets, occupancy, etc., via written, fax, electronic and phone methods.
3. Ensure reverification scope and activities adhere to investor/insurer (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA RD) guidelines and Transaction Risk Monitoring procedures.
4. Process all reverification orders/requests/evaluations correctly and timely. Monitor open reverification status and follow-up appropriately.
5. Evaluate reverification responses to determine if acceptable or identify a possible loan file discrepancy.
6. Update all tracking system data fields properly, including detailed evaluation findings and conclusion.
7. Elevate reverification questions and discrepancies as needed for precision.
8. Save all reverification artifacts to the defined repository.
9. Responsible for keeping documented procedures and process steps accurate.
10. Reconcile third party bills to orders placed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Three years of mortgage experience in processing, closing, underwriting, quality control, compliance, credit review and/or servicing.
2. Knowledgeable of mortgage loan documents (conventional, portfolio, FHA, VA, USDA RD, Bond, etc.).
3. Possess strong written and verbal skills communicating with teammates and external service providers.
4. Manage workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and accurate results.
5. Attention to detail to produce high-quality work.
6. Excellent time management skills.
7. Able to easily adapt to changing priorities, processes and/or tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. User of Truist mortgage systems: Empower, Lending Space, ADM, MSP/Fidelity.
2. Knowledge of Retail and/or Correspondent operations for Truist mortgage.
3. Experience with third party mortgage applications, such as credit reporting bureaus, tax transcript providers, the Work Number, etc.
4. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, RightFax, Avaya OneX, etc.)
5. Detailed in defining and documenting procedures and process steps.
6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or training for job.
