Play senior leadership role for Enterprise Performance Effectiveness in designing Enterprise Performance framework components including scorecards, reporting, capabilities, and goals. Partner with lines of business and corporate functions to understand data and drivers to drive performance outcomes. Mentor and develop junior talent and partner closely with broader Enterprise Performance Acceleration org and COO org to deliver performance outcomes.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Take on significant leadership and project management roles to guide EPA teams in leveraging data to inform business strategy. Provide research, analysis, while creating roadmaps to support business and financial objectives.
2. Engage in the design and execution of Enterprise Performance framework elements across the group as needed, showcasing flexibility and autonomy in support of the group's broader mandate, including but not limited to scorecards, reporting, committee/working group deliverables, and goals.
3. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand critical performance related business needs and effectively deliver executive and senior leadership on ad hoc and regular requests / deliverables, recommend improvements, and advise on gaps in the business.
4. Participate in select deep dive or other ad-hoc projects to illuminate opportunities, address problems, or otherwise enhance operating performance and results.
5. Develop thoughtful, high-quality analyses and presentations in support of Enterprise Performance Acceleration and broader Enterprise initiatives, including but not limited to executive-level management presentations, business reviews, key findings and recommendations.
6. Engage and disseminate insights regarding industry and competitor practices which may serve to improve strategy, execution, and results across Truist, including aspects of client and teammate experience.
7. Mentor and coach junior talent on the Enterprise Performance Acceleration team. Assists in workflow management and objectives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and relevant work experience required. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
2. Ten or more years in Consumer and/or Wholesale Banking and a banking corporate function (HR/Finance/Risk/Tech, etc.). Multiple corporate function role experience preferred.
3. Strong comprehension banking products and coverage models, including Wholesale and Consumer Banking, Payments, and requisite client experiences thereof.
4. Sound presentation skills and ability to translate metrics into understandable business insights.
5. Strong leadership skills: provide direction, lead courageously, influence others and foster teamwork, motivate, coach and develop others while championing change.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships, display organizational savvy, leverage networks, and value diversity; drive cross-functional team spread across the enterprise.
7. Executive level communication skills: ability to speak effectively, foster open communication, listen to others and deliver presentations, including persistence and ability to negotiate with and influence executive decisions.
8. Demonstrated ability to grasp and communicate the underlying concepts in complex information and formulate and communicate solutions based on a synthesis of information thereof.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in business management, statistics, business or marketing analytics, mathematics, finance, or other quantitative field, or equivalent education and related training.
2. Technical certifications (e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
